Join Us To Honour The Men of 1921

To honour the centenary of the 1921 winning team, the club’s very first Kildare senior championship title, we will be hosting a special evening this Friday in our clubhouse from 8pm.

The 1921 hurling final was delayed because of the civil war and our official commemoration has also been delayed somewhat by the Covid pandemic.

We will be unveiling a very special commemoration to the Celbridge team, captained that day by Owen ‘Skipper’ Murphy. We will be joined by family members including some of the children of the players that lined out against St.Conleiths on April 29 1923.
Please join us to honour the men that won the 1921 county championship and remember our history with some stories and refreshments.
