★Ball Wall Fencing & Medical Room

★Ball Wall Fencing
On Tuesday 15-Aug the fencing around the ball wall area will be removed. There will be some disruption during this time as available space for usage of this area will be much reduced.
A skip must be placed in this ball wall area to ensure the waist materials are safely disposed of.

★Medical Room.
Preparations are in motion to create the medical room for the club. This will be housed in the room that was used for our shop.

Your patience & understanding are much appreciated as we progress with both of these initiatives.

Thank You

A Warm Thank You from the Chairman of Celbridge GAA.

A Chairde,

On behalf of the Executive of Celbridge GAA it gives me immense pleasure to Thank You you all for your support of this special club fundraising event, The Lip Sync Battles.

The purpose of the fundraising event, is to position ourselves to finance further enhancements of our club’s facilities and amenities.

Developments identified for 2017 include;

• Development of an artificially surfaced floodlit ‘Multi-Use Games Area’ (MUGA) incorporating a Ball Wall.

• Development of an additional full size adult pitch.

• Introduction of additional floodlit winter training areas.

• Development of a First Aid & Medical Treatment Room.

The Lip Sync Battles pits the contestants against each other in a lip-syncing dancing battle with the judging panel passing their verdicts.

The winning categories on the night are;

• First ,The Act that raises the most money wins €1,000 for the team they represent in the Club.

• Second, The best group act on the night wins €1,000 for the team they are representing in the Club.

• Third, The best single act on the night wins €1,000 for the team they are representing in the Club.

I sincerely like to thank the local community, local businesses and groups who donated so generously by placing advertisements in the programme or by sponsoring our acts.

A special thank you to the committee of Tommy Stack,  Sinead O'Sullivan , Martina Ginty, Pauline Halpin, Cathy Browne, Andrew Conaty, and Brendan Holmes. Thanks also to our ticket sellers and to all those who donated.

Most importantly, I thank the brave acts who participated. They have given so much of their time to learn their routine & fund raise for our club. Their legacy will live on in our enhanced facilities they have worked so hard to fund raise for. I would like to Thank You for taking on the challenge of the Lip Sync Battles.
