If there are any new volunteers/helpers/people interested in coaching or if anyone is helping/refereeing or doing Gaisce award and have turned 17 can they (with parental consent) please contact the Children’s Officer to arrange attending the following course - Child Safeguarding Level 1.
This is a requirement in the GAA for anyone involved with children to have taken this course. It will be run over one evening in the club free of charge for attendees. I am aiming to hold this course after Easter (as I’m conscious that some of our referees have their Leaving Cert this year).
Thanks for your continued help & cooperation.

Click the link below to read a shortened version of our updated Juvenile Club Code of Behaviour with just the section for Coaches, Players and Parents.
We would ask that all coaches read this and forward to parents of their players for them to read with their child. Please ask parents to acknowledge that they/their child have read understand and agree to abide by this and for coaches to do same. (If any coach wants to print this off and hand out that's fine - its only 4 pages).
All full version of the New Code, Vetting Information etc will be up on our Hall Wall shortly and the link to the full Code is here, on our website.
Please take the time to read the full code as there is other important new information on The Role of the Club, Recruitment of Coaches, Social Media use, Away trips etc.
There also is a new form that all new coaches must fill out going forward. This can be found on page 65 & 66 of the Code. We will make these forms available at the club.
The link to the full code can be found here -
Can all coaches please send on info of any new people/helper/coach/volunteer they have for their team straight away to the Children’s Officer & Vetting Officer.
Thank you all for your cooperation on this.
