Club Development Plan Phase 2

Phase 2 of our club development plan due to commence.

The Development plan was approved unanimously by members at a Special General Meeting in April 2021.

Phase 2 of the approved plan is the development of a senior county standard, fully lit, natural grass playing pitch, with a specialised arterial drainage system (not sand based), state of the art lighting, river boundary fencing, reclamation of scrub area and a walking track.

Planning permission was granted by Kildare County Council in May 2023 for all above.

Max State Grant aid funding of €150,000 was awarded for natural grass pitch and lighting.

The tendering and procurement process is now complete.

Works are due to start on October 2nd.

This is an important step in future proofing your club and your club needs your support.

We are also seeking expressions of interest from members to form a dedicated fundraising committee. Specifically for large club wide fundraising projects with a focus on club development.
