GAAla Ball 2022
After a two year hiatus the popular social event on our club calendar is back on November 26th for what promises to be another fantastic night of dining and dancing. Tickets priced at €60 per person go onsale this Tuesday evening (October 25)in the clubhouse from 7.30 to 9pm. This year's glamorous event will be held in the elegant setting of the Hamlet Court Hotel in Johnstownbridge. While we would have loved to have it in our own club as in previous years, unfortunately primarily due to prohibitive energy and catering costs, it was simply not feasible to host the event at the club this year. The club always looked fabulous the night of the GAAla Ball and a far stretch from the muddy boots and training gear associated with training and playing. The friendly team at the Hamlet Court have catered for all the previous GAAla Balls and have a proven history of quality and efficiency and no doubt we are set for another very memorable night. No need to worry about logistics, as return journey coach tickets will also be available for purchase at €10 per person.
Halloween Camp
There's a 2 day camp during the school mid term break focusing on the skills of football and camogie / hurling and most importantly fun. The camp runs on Thursday and Friday November 3 and 4 from 10am to 2pm. Register HERE or scan the QR code
Teenage Halloween Themed night
Halloween themed event for 13 to 15 year olds on Sunday October 30th between 7 and 9.30 in teh GAA Club. Scary movie, VR, treats and lots more. Parents must sign off on entry. Tickets available here
End of Year Reports
Calling all team managements to please get your end your end of year reports and photos into us for November 10. (The underage AGM is Nov 14) We'll collate all the reports and pics into a digital yearbook. Don't forget to list all the players in your groups...
Team Photos This is a shout out for people who have any successful team photos that could be hung in the clubhouse to get in contact, no matter how old or how recent. Mass for Deceased Members We have a mass in our hall to remember all deceased members and love ones on All Soul's Day, Wednesday Nov. 2nd. All very welcome.
Safe Guarding, Coaching & Child Protection Keep an eye out on our Club socials for dates of upcoming courses. To be a coach in our club there are a number of courses that you must first complete. Jonathan Daniels, GPO Sadly Jonathan has finished up with the club and moved on to a high profile post in his home county of Wicklow. Jonathan has done to tremendous work over the past 4 years both in the club with the academy, with training and encouraging coaches and in the local schools. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours.

Don't forget the L59 and L58 buses both stop just outside the club entrance, so you can leave the car at home and get home safely.
