  Our thanks to Snr. Hurler ★Donal Moloney ★ for presenting the lads with their medals. Another brilliant year for the U-14 hurlers - Div 1 championship winners and Feile A Shield champions. Lots of lads involved in the county team and lads played in the U-15 and U-16 club teams too ! Well done boys and looking forward to 2017 already !! [widgetkit id=605]

Hurler ★Donal Moloney ★ for presenting the lads with their medals. ★2016 turned out to be a very successful year for the U13 squad with a total of > 20 competitive matches played during the year with a panel of approx. 20 lads who all show great enthusiasm for the game and always give 110% to every activity. The year started with the Feile campaign with a combination of our U12 and U13’s entered into D3. With only 1 defeat in qualifying we went on to play Northern Gaels in the Cup final. ★Sonny Walsh U-14 hurling inter county tournament in Waterford★ Sunday 28th of August. Left to right are Niall O'Regan, Colmán O'Donovan, Tadhg Halpin, Fiachra Mooney, Johnny Owens, Ross Maycock. Niall, Colmán, Johnny and Ross were part of the Kildare panel who were runners up in Sonny Walsh U-14 hurling inter county tournament in Waterford losing to Cork in the final having beaten Laois and Clare in the group stage and beating Tipperary on penalties in the semi final ! Celbridge GAA are represented by Colmán O'Donovan , Niall O'Regan, Ross Maycock and Johnny Owens (who was on holidays at the time). They won their group but lost the final to Offaly. We're in the Sonny Walsh tournament on Aug 27 in Waterford.

[widgetkit id=508] Commiserations to our U13 Hurlers, in the U14 Div 3 final today, 3-July in Hawkfield against Northern Gaels. The lads lost out by 2 points by a late goal. Our thanks to Paul, Tom & Dave for their hard work & dedication with the lads during the year.  

[widgetkit id=455] Celbridge GAA  U13 & U12 hurlers are competing in the U14 Feile championship.  This match was against a U14 team called northern Gaels made up of players from Cappagh & Broadford.  The Celbridge side played well, but could not beat these guys on 12-April . This is a late post to the web site.  By the end of april, we played these again in the Felie C cup final, with Celbridge taking the win & the Cup. :)
