U15 Ladies Football - Great Performance and Fantastic Match.

Commiserations to the Celbridge Ladies U15 Football team who lost out narrowly to league leaders Kill, in a thrilling league encounter on Tuesday 18th October. From the throw in both teams were fully committed and the pace of the game never dropped throughout the sixty minutes. The tackling was tough was but fair and the range of skills displayed by both sets of players was top class. In the end Kill just shaded it winning by three points so congratulations to them and their management team. Both teams were a credit not only to their respective clubs but Kildare Ladies Gaelic Football in general. Special mention to the referee who kept the game flowing throughout which contributed to an exciting encounter which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the supporters on what was a cold autumn’s evening. So hard luck to Celbridge Ladies and their mentors Tommy, Paul, Darren and Jason, but you did us proud!
