Cappagh U14's LGFA vs Celbridge U14's LGFA - 11th of May 2017 @7.15pm (Cappagh GAA)
The Celbridge Girls were eager to continue their good league form unbeaten, on top of Division 4, in the LGFA Kildare league. Cappagh had already shown in the past, just how good they can be and having played well against Celbridge previously in the Feile group stages, they were hoping to make amends tonight at home.
However! on this occasion Celbridge were a much stronger side and the managers (Brendan & Paul) used all the travelling subs on the night, allowing the 24x girls, to try out all new match positions on the field, which worked out to be very positive. Full credit to the Cappagh U14's LGFA team and managers, they never gave up trying, until the last whistle and will be a great side for the future.
This win tonight guarantees Celbridge a league Semi-Final place on the 1st of June and keeps them top of the table ahead of their next tough opposition "Ballykelly" on the 18th of May in Celbridge GAA, who are also unbeaten in the league.
Final Score: Cappagh U14's LGFA 1-4 to Celbridge U14's LGFA 9-12
